Custom Cabinets
I like to use local craftsman like Charleston Woodworks Creations because they have a variety of exotic woods to choose from such as the burled cypress used on this mantle. The custom countertops and bespoke firebox are walnut. Most cabinet companies have to ship cabinets in from out of state to a warehouse. Then you have to hire a delivery service to pick the cabinets up from warehouse to deliver to the residence. Then you have to hire an installer and a painter. With this many moves and this many hands touching the cabinets, things get broken. With Charleston Woodworks Creations the paint, installation, and delivery is all included in the price of the cabinets.
3D Drawings
I like to use a 3D CAD software called Chief Architect. This way I can communicate with my clients and workman through pictures rather than line drawings.
